It's a good thing we let them live for ya. That field looks familar. Now this was the second chance that I gave younz guys time to catch up. The process of cutting hay has begun. :shock:

Went to a different farm yesterday and after blazing a path to get to the field,lo and behold there's the farmer baling hay(about 1/3 the field). He asked me"where the hell ya been"? Told him that I was working another farm last year and didn't get over here too much last year. Sat there and wached the field as he was baling and was amazed he didn't break something. The front of the tractor was bouncing like a gumball from hitting the holes. He asked that I wait till he's done or out of the field till I start shooting. SOOOOOOOOOO, He ought to be done with it soon depending on the weather. NEXT WEEK--------GAME ON !!!!!!!! :wink:

I stopped at a farm today that had so many holes on top of the hill that even when it rains the crops still die. All the water runs down the holes, it looks like a desert. All the water runs down the holes and silt runs down with it to the valley below and now everything is nice and green in the valley. I asked the farmer about shooting those big hogs on the hill and he said no!!! He said with gas prices so high he hooks up 6 or 8 of the real big hogs to pull his farm equipment. He said he is big into this eco green thing?? what ever that meant. :>)

Longpooper is just to modest to take credit for always wanting to help the farmers, I feel it is my duty to speak up and give Loongpooper the credit he deserves, this spreader was loaded at longpooper, s house and is being donated and spread to help the farmers with there crops this year. Looks like a good year for the farmers with in a 100 miles of the hunt. Great going longpooper I applaud you. :D Housing will take another down turn in this part of the state after the hunt though. O-well, some things just stink. :shock:
