The new 17 WSM comes in three bullet types!
A 20 grain VMAX HV = High Velocity
20 Grain Super X HP
25 Grain gray tipped HE = High Energy
Looks like accuracy findings show the 25 grain shoots the best group.
I don't like to use VMAX on fox! Would be nice if the 25 grainier if it is a VMAX would be nice if it blows up inside of the animal! I'm sure I will like the 20 grain HP Super X ammo the best.
I nave to decide what scope to put on this Savage! I know I have a cheap illuminated BSA on my 22 WMR. I like that set up a lot For Fox! Might go with a Muller or maybe a Nikon. Something higher then a 3 x 9 !
