Strangest things in the Woods...

As outdoorsmen, what have you seen that is strange in the woods, field or water?
Anyone have a Big Foot encounter or see a weird insect?

I once shot a Grey Squirrel with a white tail.

Huntin whitetails in NC, I came across an old still  ??? ??? ??? ??? I wasn't sure if it was functional or not, :o :o :o :o but didn't hang around it very long as I didn't know who may be watchin  :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

That is aptly named a Gray Tree Frog if I'm not mistaken...I can remember catching those when I'd visit my cousins in the woods of Michigan..

 NO!  That's pretty nasty, but is not unique to your area. That is why the PGC locks a lot of SGL roads and parking lots directly after deer season. It's easier to lock out legitimate sportsmen than police the Hoofties...... 8)
