You can tell that's an old pic. I've killed 5 so far and they all had bald patches on them. Plus the mature white clover gave it away.

I'm ready to get out and pop a few.  Anyone ever knock one off with a pistol?  Of course, open sights?

Once, But it was in my yard. I never went out with a pistol. It was with a Ruger P94 40 cal. at 12 yards. Lucky shot. I miss that pistol.

This is my favorite g-hog rig.
TC Contender 223 with 2-7 scope.  Will shoot with just about any rifle out there.

I used to carry a Walther P-22 in the field.  Had some rabbid coons on the property I hunt.  Took out a couple of Grassland Grizzlies with it.

I seen some also.Didnt have a orange hat so i had to watch.

I heard there are some dead ones seen on the road.

Rumor has it some hunters may be cutting tails off them for the big groundhog contest.

Guess the pressure is on this year.

They might have to make the signal a front foot or something secret till the day before.

It will be exciteing to see who will be the king.

Will the king prevail.

Or will he loose his crown to those city hunters with there beach umbrellas.

P77 is young and in shape he can walk the fields and get them fence line hogs.

It will be a challange.

Those TC's are nice rigs fellows.

They said they are so accurate do to the minute of angle.

Some may laugh, but the bull barrel,h$r handiriflehas a good moa also.

The nephews have one i gave them and it shoots anything we put through it.

We found they need the chamber brushed with a good brush on a drill.

Because they come from the factory a little rough, and the empty rounds will stick.

I brushed the chamber and a round hasnt stuck ever.

I would own one of those the TC's if my wife wasnt so cheap.. :'(

Or maybe it was me bragging how i could kill a deer with a speer many years ago like a guy on a hunting show did we was watching.

And she said the next time i need hunting equipment get a stick and tie a knife on it. ;D

A man should never teach his wife too much about hunting equipment.
Because then they know what you want.May not be something you need.
