Title: D-4 hunt

Here in D-4 we are having a hunt that is state wide. We are going to have two ways to check in, on the internet or a physical check in. The physical check in will be held at Gander Mountain, just off the Scotland exit of 81.  If you decide to do a physical check in, the harvested animals are double points . There will be a first an second prize.

The rules of the hunt are, You must be the one who harvest the animal
You can harvest the animal anywhere in the state of PA
All pgc laws apply

Raccoon -3 points
Red/grey fox-6 points
Coyote -10 points

First prize is a night eyes head lamp
Second prize is a bees obrien howler

Dates of the hunt is November 14-16 all submission must be posted 12 noon on the 16 for internet an physical check in at grander mountain 12 noon. For internet check in there will be a sign, that will be announced closer to time. Post all submission here

For the Internet check in the sign must say D -4 rocks and the date at the bottom. Good luck

I thought I would be shooting grays and so far I only called in reds.  Two reds down and more time to hunt.    Pictures to follow soon.

Congratulations Misterjake.I quess the gray fox experience will wait till another day.I had intensions of going to check in but the wife woke me at 11:40 asking what time checkin was.You snooze you lose.

Foxtrot,

     I grew up in Indiana and my parents still live there.  Growing up, all we ever saw were gray fox....I'm not sure when the reds moved in, but thats all that came in.  Even my dad was surprised the only thing called in were reds.

Thank you Bulldog for having the hunt and check in! It's always nice to see some of the faces behind the forum names. Nice shooting this weekend Jake it was a pleasure to call for you even if your grey fox honey hole has gone red. LOL
