Just wondering if your supposed to split a Fox tail the whole way when you skin them?

Bigcat...they make a tool (Tail splitter guide) that you can slide into the tail once it is removed from the bone that helps split it straight.... it's a piece of metal, folded into a "V", tapered, and makes a real nice job out of splitting a tail that can be used on various critters... 8) 8) 8) 8)

??? ??? VARIOUS CRITTERS ??? ??? Goose can you split a Grinner tail with this???? ::) ::) Do you think it would work on a Beaver???? I know you ain't never caught a Beaver :o but I bet you have been practicing on Muskrats ::) ::) just in case lightning strikes :P :P..............Sorry for being so inquisitive ;) I always give the nasty fur I get along the road to my friend George to skun ;D so I don't know to much about this stuff :-[ :-[ but I'm trying to learn something new everyday ;D ;D........THANKS IN ADVANCE........ 8)
