Hey guys,
My name is Brian and I just joined the forum after lurkin a few days.
Seems like a nice place. I've hunted coons with dogs when I was a kid. I hunted foxes with calls since i was 12, and am in on the coyote craze with everybody and their Randy Anderson wannabe brother. I've already learned some things from reading posts and hope to learn enough to help contribute here eventually. I am from Blair county but am moving to southern Clearfield county (Houtzdale) within the month. I'm mainly a fly fisherman, but like to hunt deer and predators/varmints very much. Ok I'll shut up now. See ya around the forums.
Brian

Welcome!!
We have a great flyfisherman here by the name of Coyotejeff,
from Woodland, should be close to your new home
-
Yeah, Woodland is not too far from me. That's good maybe I can get him to spot-burn some creeks up that way for me. lol Of course, I'd be willing to return the favor. If anyone is ever up for a cast n blast sometime, hit me up. Hunt dogs or chucks half a day and hit the stream for some trouts the other half.

where abouts in houtzdale do u live. im from tyrone I up that way from time to time.Do a little hunting up that way and quad riding.
-
Actually, Smoke Run is where I just got a place. My wife is from right in the little village of Houtzdale. I hunt around ginter/houtzdale a lot. the quads have gotten nuts in the past few years since the fire depts have been doing all these poker runs. People come up and ride in them then they come up in hunting season and road hunt on all the new trails they made for the poker runs. It's kinda funny. You will see 9978617561353.725 vehicles/quads on the roads and 0 footprints 100 yards inside the woods anywhere.

lol No Foot Prints? You probably don't see many deer being taken out either?
-
my dad and I do a little muzzleloader hunting in ginter, dont really hunt there any other time. We have taken one deer from there and i may have missed another :-[ In the late season dont really run in to many others, never wanted to chance going up in the regular season figured it's most likely packed

UB- No just a buncha guys roadhunting and whining about how "Theres no more deer left". lol
I have a collection of PA game news from the 60's thru present and that song has been playing for decades. haha It's a classic!
