Title: Model 88 Winchester Anyone like or dislike

I purchased a Model 88 Winchester 308 Win when I was in the USCG.  $89.00 through the Exchange Officer on our cutter right from Winchester..Hated the gun for hunting... So much so I missed quite a few bucks with it in the 70's..  I did research on it now and they say they were not the best gun that made me feel gun...I traded it about 26 years ago for a new Ruger # 1     243 Cal...The best thing I ever did..


Any of you like or dislike the Model 88 Win? I do know if you have one of the 284 calibers that can make them collectable,
