You will spend alot of money to get a gun to out perform a Savage.  Even their cheapest guns are better than most.

they're just so butt ugly though... gimme the good clean lines of an Encore...

UB... WD40 is the worst thing you can use inside a gun... when that crap dries it turns to varnish...
when you step out the truck, you become part of the food chain...

Thank you for the info  I have 2 Remington 700 series rifles bolt 223 and a 308, I never had a problem yet, Not to say I wont....I used a Rem 700 308 Most of my time in the army, Never had a problem, under all types of weather and Conditions even in South America, that's why I still but Remington 700, But I will be Alert of any problems,
