Good job.  I didn't set any lines yet but looking forward to it.

Tim was nice enough to come up and show me how to snapper trap.  we set lines on friday afternoon and sat morn i was greeted with a 20lbr and a 11lbrs.  this morning I checked after having a wild night on the river and caught a 28lbr and another 11lbr.  The lil ones are the meanest.  I actually stepped over the 28lbr this morning while checking.

heres the pics.

the 28lbr.  you can see the 11lbr on the ground beside me.

ended up with two more.  another 20lbr and a 15lbr.  and the two 11 lbrs escaped.  I think they were teenage mutant ninja turtles.

picture of the 20lbr from yesterday.  both of em were wrapped up in everything they possibly could.

anyone have any good soup recipes they are willing to share?  and how do you clean the shell after ya get all the snapper out of it?

I agree looks like a happy camper.  I killed and butchered up 4 turtles yesterday.  might set some more lines this week.
