Title: Practice Ammo - .223
Post by: chalmitch on October 04, 2007, 10:19:30 PM
I went to Dick's today.  There was a Remington/UMC bulk pack available, first time I have seen it.  The pack was 55 grain, metal clad, 200 rounds for $70.

I know it is not the best ammo but for the price it seems reasonable to practice out to 100 yards.  There were a few other packs on the shelf.  Maybe Monday I will be able to try it at Delaware County Field and Stream.

Best regards,

I found that I could keep this stuff under an inch with 3 or 5 shot groups.  It is 55 grain, metal clad.  Good for practice, I can always use the trigger work.

Never shot the mc type bullets, but seams like good ammo in your gun.
If you are getting 5 shots under an inch at 100 yards.
Delaware County Field and Stream, Are you entered in an event.
