Title: New around here... and crows
Post by: jhrper on September 01, 2009, 07:29:52 PM
Hey guys
I'm new around the forum and just wanted to say hello.  I joined PPHA and am really glad to have a group of guys to converse with about these critters.  Also, wondering if anyone is having any luck with the crows?

I do like chasing crows in the off season, don't get too serious about it though it sure is fun

Thanks for joining.  I'm not much of a crow hunter but I like shooting them.  Maybe you could give us some tips.

thanks dreamcatcher, I've been excited about getting that.  Some advice I can share about crows is something I did.  I am an electrician and at a recent construction site I fished some OSB board from the dumpster and made myself some crow decoys.  I cut out the pattern and painted them black.  6 decoys for under 3 bucks, and they worked out alright.

What size steel are you shooting?  7s or 8s or something?
