when I bought my .17 hornet the gun shop only had 20gr vmax. they shot good.... I ordered a box of the 25gr hollow points to see how they shot, I hold a better group with the .25 hollow points out of my gun.. has anyone shot a fox with these loads yet?

Didn't know you can get 25 grainers now.. I have been using the 20 grain VMAX in my Encore.. If I hit the fox solid in the torso or the front chest there is no blow up. Now when I start to nick that bottom of the torso there is massive blow up.. Even shots in the mouth anchor red well without blow up.. I do have some of that Cali stuff to try.. What is like 17 grainer factory rounds from Hornady.. What i'm waiting for and probably never going to happen is when Winchester as promised comes out with the SUPERX 20 grain HP in their 17 WSMRF ammo..
