Foxtrot
One double recovered, the other double was the one that went down the hole and the othere fox went on to private property with Brian chasing it. :-)
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

That looks like an action packed night, with numbers like that you should think about joining in some of Larry Erdman's blitzs he holds throughout the year, always a good time and it would be within easy driving distance of your home for some fun friendly competion, plus you get to meet a lot of hunters with the same passion. The first one of this season is scheduled for Nov.14th

How did you get hooked up with Brian?  Doesn't he live in Taxacchuesets?   I love his predator hunting talkcasts...awesome show.  Also have enjoyed his baiting articles for coyote in Predator Extreme.  It is awesome that two great guys like you hooked up.

What were you finding best for calling them in?

Do you worry that you overshoot spots killing that many.  I'm confused about this issue.  Fox trappers seem to take tons off a single farm.  I am always leary that if I kill to many my spots will dry up?  Any experience on this one or any thoughts?  I try only to kill one fox at each spot a month.

Congratulations on your awesome shooting...that is a real accomplishment!   8)

Seeking coyotes
I met him a few years back at a calling event and we have been trying to hunt together for years.  This year it just worked out that we both could go.
He is the best shot I hunted with in years. He realy like to hunt and if fun to hunt with. Some day I will hunt around his home for beach coyotes.

We called everything with hand calls using rabbit distress.

The only way to over kill areas is if the price is hight and everybody is after them. But when prices fall the fox come back.
Fox travel all night and if a trapper has a good place,  most of the fox in a big area will end up there and get caught. That is why they can catch so many on one farm.
A good calling stand is like a good fox set.
When red fox hit $18 I seen the numbers go down. When prices are higher you will see numbers go down farther. But I never worry about over shooting a spot. Some day the price will fall and these places will fill back up and it starts all over again.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.
