misfires?

called in first double last night  2 reds charged hard at about 20 yds emptied gun no shots fired and 2 reds laughing as they ran off.  used rem.  3" nitro mag  #5 shot all 3 shells had primer hit.  while walking out tried 1 more on coon same result dug in backpack and fired rem. 3" #4 turkey load and coon on the ground. anyone else ever have this problem? packed up the nitro mags and put away

Never on shotgun shells... Happened to me with Winchester 3006 SuperX Silverbox 150 grainers.  I was at the range so it was not during actual hunting conditions... I never had a problem with Remington prouducts as of yet....

take it to a gunsmith and let him pull the firing pin block/bolt and give it a good cleaning... prolly got grease or gunk or combinations of both blocking the mess up not allowing the firing pin to hit the primer hard enough...
