Title: .308 Savage model 10
Post by: Savage on March 14, 2013, 04:38:02 PM
As of right now I currently own a Savage .308 model 10. And my question is when it comes to hunting coyotes and groundhogs with  riffles is there a caliber restriction?  I know this is a big caliber to be hunting coyotes and groundhogs. But this is my only riffle. Any info would be nice. I have read the rule book and it was not specific on riffles. So that's why I am just asking. Thanks to all that reply.

There is no caliber restriction that I'm aware of.
Maybe some will post that knows for sure

Didn't reply properly,  PA-No Problems w/308.  In CSNJ where I live there are a whole bunch of Simple (read stupid) regs on caliber and bullet weights.  Just another way to separate the working man from his money and make more jobs for hacks.  Dick
