here are the directions. how to download and use ventrillo.
1 go to
http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php and click the top blue text that says Windows i386 - 32bit - Win2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008 (Version 3.0.5)
2 click I agree at the bottom
3 click run
4 click next and follow setup on the ventrillo client setup
5 under full name put you name and under organization put ppha.
6 click next until you finish installation
7 on your desktop there should be a ventrillo icon that has a guy wearing sunglasses and a head set. double click that.
8 a box will come up.
9 at the top left you will see username. go to the right side and click the arrow pointing right.
10 click new user and put in your name. click ok.
11 under username there is server. go to the right side and click the arrow pointing right again.
12 click new put in ppha
13 to the right of Hostname or IP put: va2.progamerhosting.com
14 to the right of port number put: 3163
15 to the right of password put: PPHA2009
16 click OK
17 now in the big white box there should be a ? with MSG: Server is available. Press connect.
18 to the right of that and a lil above there is a button that says connect.
19 there should be some music and then there should be a computer screen with ppha and your name underneath of it. there should also be a red speaker to the left of your name. press the left ctrl button on your keyboard and it should light up green.
Hey fellas not sure when the next meeting is but wanted to drop in and stick this hear in case you have one tonight. the server to our ventrillo server crashed sometime last week but the hosting place set us up on another one. to edit the ventrillo on your computer follow the directions below.
1. open ventrillo
2. on the server line on the extreme right there is a -> . click on it.
3. a screen comes up saying conection editor.
4. on hostname or ip line put in va5.progamerhosting.com
5. on port number put 3029
6. click ok. you should be able to log on now. let me know if ya need anything at all.
