dad and i were trying our luck coyote hunting again at the farm. friday night we were night hunting under a full moon and didn't even see any eyes. we hunted most of saturday and we were skunked again.i was on call sunday and dad and i discussed where to go for him sunday morning. it was in a hollow next to us but this time we agreed to go out of the thick stuff so he could see beter. so there i am at home sunday and mom calls telling me to met them at keystone country store. dad shot a coyote. :shock: i'm like no way after the weekend we had so far. this is what i found when we got there. it was a 28.8 lb female. this was very pale. not white but very light. probably born last year. the other coyotes we killed were very red but nothing like this.[IMG]http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/8937/1000616ho1.

thanks for posting the picture. i've never posted a pic before. dad was using his fawn bleat call and had his fawn decoy out. the coyote came up the run and when it saw the decoy dad said it stopped and never moved. i still can't believe it happened. just blows me away still.
