Selling Fur
« on: February 05, 2015, 11:06:35 AM »
Went to sell my fur to Larry Erdman last night only to find out he passed away on Jan. 13 of this year.
Now I am looking for another fur buyer near Lancaster.
Had a very tough year..... 2 rats
                                      2 mink
                                      2 possum
                                      3 coon
Now is it worth sending to NAFA or not with so little fur. Seems like everyone sends to them with a lot of fur.
Any comments will be helpful...... Thanks. :-\ :-\ :-\

Is John Epler, Orwigsburg, near you? or Roger's Fur (not sure what town)?
NAFA will take 1 Possum if that's all you have to sell. No limits on total fur count.
Prices are low on Raccoon this season, Rats good, Possums and Mink ok.
You may be better off selling local.
Maybe Buckwheat or others can help with buyers near Lancaster.
