Title: Public hearing Jan 30
Post by: foxpro51 on December 08, 2010, 07:57:18 AM
I understand someone is trying to limit the use of lights for predator hunting to start Jan 1 like WV does. Someone from PPHa should be at this season hearing.

No just got some inside info from a friend in Harrisburgh. Meeting starts at 1 on January 30. Public hearing  suggestions for law changes for coming year. The suggestion is that predators hunters are poaching deer with there lights. Pure bull. The recent killing of a game warden by a spotlighter will not help the use of lights at night for hunting before deer season. Someone better be at this meeting.

I also heard pushing for a Total ban on spot lighting for deer and predator hunting with lights before deer season due to the death of a game warden. There theory here is if someone is spotlighting or shinning lights at night before deer season they are up to no good after the change or ban. There will also be less calls on spotlighting. We need to fight this.
