Soft Points VS Hollow Point impact on predators

I have been using the economy box of WIN 22250 45 grain HP for vermin control and coyote hunting. But wow when they hit at  4000 FPS do they ever rip... They are accurate and you can get a box of 40 for about $32.00 in Wally World..  Why In Wally World they had Rollback on 22250 Rem  55 grain Soft Points.. Actually what they call PSP ....I do reload the  22250 and have tried other bullets... My question is the .224 PSP or Soft Points?  Does anyone know if they mushroom or do they also explode?   I use them in the  22 Hornet all the time... 45 grainers...   However if you chuck hunters want to use to good cheap bullet. The Win 45 Grain Economy Pack of  22250 are really accurate in all my  22250 rifles... I have been using them for two years now but they do RIP!!!  Fur.....In some instances like you can take your fist and put it right in the hole of the animal.. :(

UB unless you're hitting them right at the muzzle they are not going 4,000 fps, at 100 yards it's about 3,300 fps and 200 yards 2,650 fps.  I have used them in my Rem Mdl 7, 22-250 and that is what the Chrony measured.

Thanks for the comments.  So  many shooters think the ammo is traveling the velocity on the box. They reliad and reduce it down to 2800 and think that what they are shooting at 100 yards. When they say I have a roind shooting at 2800 to reduce pelt damage. Looks like it really not at different distances.
