Looks like its done snowing here.  Only about 2" here in southern Beaver co.

Snowed here for a while then quit,not much accumulation at all,them there weather people must be in kahoots with that ground grizz

3-4 inches here with a couple more over night. Gee.......wonder if they could be off on the forecast about the "polar vortex" in the next couple days. Supposed to get "snot freeze'n" cold in the over night the next few days.

Heard there was a big burst of hot air that was emanating from central Pa and caused the storm to have a more southerly direction.

I am waiting till the thaw cause I aint cutting ice on ponds or going on the Susquehanna until ice out.
Not mad at the Beavers this year.

My plans are to do some calling once this stuff quits falling from the sky  we have a dustin this morning and it's still coming down  The beaver I was watching for activity musta moved on  he cut a couple of trees and now no sign...

  March Beaver Maddness     where Mr. Beaver was is still open water...stream that hasn't completely frozen all year  It was next to a corn field that they were visiting  they cut a bunch of young trees and then "POOF" they be gone!!

  Hey Hern.... my weather report says we will either need a ¼ stick or borrow jaspr1 ice augur, drill holes then connect the dots with a chain saw... with the wind it is cold out this morning  March came in roaring like a lion!!  who said we don't have at least one lion in Pa.....probably related to that Pygmy Grizzly Bear somehow
