Do you know anyone that reloads 20 ga shotshells?
I'm sure someone could lay some #4 buckshot in them

Not sure what youre looking for but #4 nitro turkeys (made in 2 3/4-3 1/2) would work as would #5 turkey loads.

#4 Buck will make a mess of smaller predators such as coon and fox (I can attest to it tearing up a fox)

THIS IS SPARTA!!

Can you find BB in 20 Gauge ? I like to use the heaviest shot size I can.  If your hunting is like mine I never know for sure if a fox or coyote will be coming into the call and I don't want to have to light of a load in if its a coyote.

I cannot find BB lead shot in 20 gauge. will the #4 nitro turkey loads easily take down a yote (1 shot)?

Thanks

If you know your distance limitations...pattern it out and find out what distance you can go and still get a good shot. And then dont shoot over that distance. Its tough not to shoot at something just outside of your max range...but if you want to hunt with a 20 gauge....it would be the close shot anyway.
For the longer distance you would use your .222

Use a premium 20 gauge Turkey round in # 4 shot for fox.
Use Hevishot for coyote hunting...# 4 shot would be best for obvious reason however even the # 6 shot Hevishot hits real hard and will kill coyotes at close range.  I killed a 17 pound red fox at 55 + yards with Remingtion # 6 shot Hevishot.  Howver it was 12 gauge.  However like someone said use the rifle for your longer shots that exceed 40 yards.  40 yard kills are not bad for 20 gauge.  Of course you will need premium turkey loads (fox) and the Hevishot for coyotes...
Kent Tungsten Matrix hits hard too....
