Title: Video: Fisher attacking Grey Fox
Post by: QUATTRO on June 27, 2015, 11:37:57 AM
Came across this video the other day and thought I'd share it. Pretty fascinating in my opinion. Talk about being at the right place at the right time.

Looks like the film guy spooked the Fisher off the Grey by going too close.
But the Grey is a feisty critter and didn't back down after near death grip and charged the Fisher.
Maybe the other way around before the film guy got there.
Two tough Hombres

It never ceases to amaze me..the events that happen every second of every day in nature and most go largely unseen. I always love those moments when I happen to catch something candid in the outdoors..If you notice in the video, after the fisher split, the fox was staggered a bit and did collapse a few times..but yes, he stood his ground..animal kingdom at its finest..until the camera man interrupted it..still a interesting video

I have released 2 fishers from dirthole sets a few years ago, right behind the house.
Neither was too hard to release.
