The PPHA will be hosting a Bobcat / Coyote hunt Jan 14 2017 - February 8 2017. Bobcats are the main goal in this hunt. They are valued at 10 points and coyotes are valued at 5 points. However, irregardless of points, a Bobcat trumps coyotes. A person with one Bobcat wins over a person with 3 coyotes. A three digit member number picked by the participants will decide a tie. The winning tie breaker will be based on the PA lottery from the last day of the hunt.
This hunt is open to all PPHA members.
All animals must be called in. All animals must be taken in PA. The animal must be posted on the boards within 24 hours of taking it. All Pa game laws apply. A detailed account of the hunt must also be included in the post.
I will post before the hunt what the hunt sign will be.
First place is a $75 Gift card, second place is a $50 gift card third place is a $25 gift card.

Right now we have a fox hunt and a bobcat hunt.....

These hunts are ment to be fun. I agree they should be posted before the season or I should say I did but now seeing the greed coming out I'm starting to change my mind.

There is nothing to keep any member from entering the hunts. Why would you not enter because there is no guarantee who is going to win......the goal here is to have fun and share stories. We're no Misquito Creek giving away high dollar prizes. Each district is only allowed $200 per year. We try to get prizes donated to help out, but even that is no guarantee.
We still have open officer positions available. Anyone who wants to step up and fill a position is welcome to. Then you can even do your own hunts and vote on how things are run. I mean this with no offense to anyone, but if you don't like how things are run or would like to see certain things done or changed, become an officer and help out. We would love the help and input.
