Fluorescent orange
« on: October 29, 2008, 03:01:12 AM »
As a furtaker in PA is there any time during the season you need to wear fluorescent orange. If so when, and where does it say that in the digest. Thanks for any and all input.

no if you have your furtakers licence then you do not have to have any orange on at all.  even though It might be wise while hunting in the seasons that overlap turkey and deer to wear a orange hat while walking and then post a piece of FLO OR near your stand.  aint no need to wind up getting shot because someone wants to kill a "yote"

that last paragraph is misleading to me,  it is my understanding that you cannot hunt coyotes in the deer and bear season without a vaild unused deer or bear tag, so you would have to fullful the requirements of 250 square anyway.

what's so confusing?... if your hunting between the hours posted you need to wear 250" of orange... after an hour after sunset when the season closes you don't need orange till the next morning...   8)

that last paragraph without reading further in the book, could led someone to beleive that they can hunt coyotes during the bear season with 250sq of FO even if they didn't have a bear licence.

sorry got on the track of just fox.  I would have to assume any one sane would wear FLO OR when rifle season comes in.
