Savage Model 10MLII w/AccuTrigger for sale/trade
« on: September 23, 2009, 12:56:39 PM »
Model 10ML-II with AccuTrigger
50 cal with Black synthetic, blue barrel, 3-9 Bushnell
Gun shoots awesome. Never shot it with blackpowder, only IMR4227 and Hornady Sabots. VERY accurate gun.
Prefer to trade, but $450  $400 would buy it

Ruger Mark III semiauto pistol (heavy barrel)
223 in something like the Weatherby Vanguard Predator or similar (not Savage or Stevens, not interested in 1-9 twist)

What don't you like about the 1-9 twist?

I am planning on shooting light bullets only, 45 and 50 grain
I have heard guys that had trouble with bullets stabilizing well under 55 gr. with their 1-9 barrels.  Most companies use a 1-12 twist in the 223
I have a 243 that will shoot 55 gr well, so I will use it for anything heavier.  looking to bridge the gap between my hornet and my 243

I get some flyer's with 45, 50, and 55's...have not shot the 62's yet out of my 1-9 twist, which is what I learned from the expo might help in tearing pelts up due to its slower velocity...so hopefully this works...cuz if not...I spent over $1 per shot in this new box of 62's
