The NH Study Video

This is the video that D a  v e  D u n b a r posted on huntingpa and it might even be on here... The video is a seminar given by the young lady doctor Biologist.. It a good hour video too but was well worth watching... Explained Coyote core areas and what is prevalent terrain in coyote core areas...  Coyotes like to hang out in swamps,  and near streams...

What I found interesting was this...You know all those piles of livestock or deer that are discarded by farmers and our PGC.  See the coyotes start to eat that stuff... Then they get a hankering for it...So if they are eating dead chickens then they turn around and start to kill live chickens... If they feed at the deer piles then they start to kill deer.  If there are dead sheep piles.. They eat the mutton and then they get that hankering for lamb chops and they start to kill sheep..

What was neat was people feeding feral cats. They feed the cats... the coyotes came in ate the cat food and got the hankering for domestic feline. these people were actually feeding the coyotes dog food and while the coyotes were eating the food put out by people in this NH neighborhood they started eating the dog food, the dogs, and then the cats too.
