My Father in Law gave me a Savage Anschutz .22 Mag. Model 141M. Scoped with a Simmons 3x9x32.Gun was made in West Germany. Don't know too much about it. Can any of you guys that are gun smart ,tell me anything about them. Thinking about using it some on fox.

it's a piece of crap... sell it to me for $50 and I'll brighten your life...  8)  

nah it's a fine shooting rifle... take care of it and it'll take care of you... but if you do decide to get rid of it, I'd like first dibs on it...

Great gun.  Your father-in-law must really appreciate you.  To get better accuracy from the gun try a "rimfire" or airgun scope that has magnification from 4 - 14 or 4 - 16 maybe even a 6-18.  But first find a brand and weight of cartridge that the gun likes.  Most of mine have preferred CCI in 40 grain although the Winchester and Remingtons in 30, 32, 33, 36 grain have done well.  The lighter the bullet the more "drift", left to right from the wind.
