Here we go this from Brother Tom has all the pertient info..

By Denise Bonura, Waynesboro Record Herald – Nov. 17, 2010

Waynesboro, Pa. — Area residents are urged to line Main Street Sunday and display flags to pay their respects to fallen Wildlife Conservation Officer David Grove.

Bernie McGarity, vice commander of the Waynesboro American Legion, is asking residents to honor the officer who was killed last week in the line of duty.

“When Sgt. (Eddie) Shaffer (of Mont Alto) was killed in Iraq, people lined the street for his motorcade,” McGarity said. “This is just a way people can pay their respects to a fallen officer.”

Grove’s motorcade will travel down Main Street and will include hundreds of law enforcement vehicles, according to Jeremy Bowersox, funeral director at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home.

Close to 2,000 people are expected to attend the funeral, which is set for 2 p.m. in the auditorium of Waynesboro Area Senior High School.

The auditorium seats 1,600 people and Bowersox said overflow seating with live feed from the auditorium will be provided in the school’s gymnasium, which seats an additional 1,800 people.

Grove, 31, was shot late Thursday night while investigating poaching on Schriver Road in Freedom Township, Adams County.

Grove, who just moved to Fairfield from Waynesboro a few months ago, died on the scene. Christopher Lynn Johnson, 27, of Fairfield has been charged with first-degree murder in the case and is being held in Adams County without bond. Johnson is set to appear in court at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, for his preliminary hearing.

A public viewing for Grove will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home, where a 24-hour honor guard is on location.

Other specifics

Bowersox said the motorcade is expected to travel down Virginia Avenue, make a left onto Main Street, travel through the town center to Potomac Street to make its way south to Green Hill Cemetery where Grove will be buried.

The procession will likely begin between 3 and 4 p.m. Bowersox said the funeral home is requesting permission to close Virginia Avenue and restrict access to Second Street during the funeral so vehicles can park on both sides of the street and access the middle school and Summitview parking lots.

Sgt. Mike Bock of the Waynesboro Police Department said fire policemen will be stationed at key intersections along Main and Potomac streets for the procession. Fire police also will assist pedestrians and drivers during Friday’s viewing.

The police department will provide security in and around the high school and the cemetery. Ambulance crews will be on hand at the viewing, service and burial due to the size of the crowd.

“We’ve had excellent support from all local fire police and law enforcement agencies in Franklin and Adams counties to make sure we can proceed safely,” Bowersox added.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission is making arrangements for portable restrooms for guests waiting at the funeral home and cemetery.

Large spotlights also will be used at Green Hill because dark will be approaching during the burial. A speaker system will be used at the cemetery for the large crowd, according to Bowersox.

Pennsylvania State Police will give Grove an aerial salute with a flyover at the cemetery.
