I did it a couple of times last year and git hooked on it. Bought my own gear now and a buddy bought a boat that we are turning into a bowfishing boat. It's a blast

yup almost as much fun as you can have with your clothes on...   8)  8)  8)

I've got 2 bows I use, a Bear Kodiak Mag for the small stuff, and a Oneida Black Eagle for the big stuff rigged out with slotted retrievers and floats...  the Bear is rigged with a Zebco Brute or I have chair leg cups rigged for floats, when I go for Rays on the Chesapeake... got all the stuff to make my own arrows, 2 different crimpers for the points, slides etc. plus a selection of points and shafts... I only have 6-8 extra reels incase one gets tore up and I think 3 of the slotted retrievers, so I think I'm ready to go...   ::)  ;D  8)

I'd like to get back into it but can't find anyone to go with... they are talking about a local creek loaded with long nose gar about 3 miles up the river...  but you need a boat to access it as it's on a military base and not sure how far up you can go anymore...

we can also shoot redfish and flounder so long as they make the size limit...
