Title: .223 Ammo - Store bought
Post by: chalmitch on July 20, 2007, 09:41:46 PM
What is a good ammo for those varmints at 100 - 250 yards.  I use Federal American Eagle, 50 grain, BTHP.  But I wonder if there is something out there just a bit steadier.

Best regards,

Sounds like a pretty good bullet if you are shooting for coyotes. A little too much for fox though. But if you are just interested in hunting making long shots, having a good time hunting and not pelt damage on fox that is good bullet.

I just tried the Remington version in HP.  They worked well also at 100 yards.
