I even put the picture on 400%..That's a tough call... Would be so neat if it was a Fisher? All you have to do is catch it in the boxtrap and we will know for sure...When you release it...Wear leather gloves no matter if it be a Fisher or Domestic Cat....Placing the finger on the wrong part of the box trap and not aware of it during the excitement  can end up with blood flow..

Looks like a buck mink to me, how big is the cage its standing by?

My guess is a house cat.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!
