 With those kind of ears maybe hunters should setup, and be awfully still before starting a calling session.

I once called in two red fox back to back with sounds from my mouse squeaker in my bib pockets...Things came in from about 500 yards away too....

Thanks, its good proof that a ecaller should be ran very low the first sequence,
then maybe turn it up to bring in the outer strays, then turn it back down to bring them the rest of the way. Also getting set up, how many are we running off even before the calling starts. Gotta be super quiet.

one thing uncle buck always stresses, the more you walk the more game you scare, let the caller work for you.   he also states when there is crunch snow on the ground get where you are just legal and call, they will come.   last year i went through a period of calling with no eyes, i turned the volume down from what i usually call and started calling them back in.
