Worth getting up early for!!
-
Awesome, why did you set right there for canines?
were they running that draw?
-
I was wondering the same thing although I faintly see a trail running through there.
-
Grass stain
Nice going, he looks upset that you caught him.
I hope you do not mind, but I also would like to talk about the color of that coyote and picture. If that coyote was in the brown grass in the back ground of this picture. That coyote would blend in at night with that back ground real good and make it hard to adenitfi. Heck, even in day light he would be hard to spot him if he stood still.
-
Nice pics . good job on the yote
-
Its at an intersection of 3 fields coming down to a point, I set about 15yrd from the fence line. I caught the grey 75 yards from that on a dirt hole.

Great looking dog GS. He will look good in that new fur shed. Great pictures also.
Mountain dog
-
That's a big boy there. congrats
-
Yea He does look like a very nice size yote. Did you find anything close your set that he was feeding on? Look like he got his or her last meal before he found your set. Well done Grass Stain!
-
Congratulations!!!Thanks for sharing...I for one enjoy the pictures and agree with your "do it today because you might not have tomorrow" philosophy...I used to love to trap but I am now surrounded by humanity and would have to drive a 100 miles to do it..
-
Looks like the blood is his from a chewed up, frayed cable.
Pretty color and very nice coyote indeed
-
I really tthink that it was from all the jagger bushes. There was a small 6 in wide trail going through them, when I arrived in the morning it looked like a mower cleaned out a 10ft circle.
Just saw tracks from 2 more yotes using the same trail this morning = New Snare and fixed up the area,Waiting game now!
