Ok guys I know it's short notice but let's go get some crow an yotes. This will be an Internet check in. Post your pics here. The dates of the hunt are going to be March 27,28,29. This hunt is open to everyone. I'm going to do this with a points crows will be 2 an coyotes will be 10
Rules
All pa laws apply
There will be a sign in your pics. I'll let your know on the 26
All pics must be in by no later then the 30th of March
In case of a tie pick a three digit number
Most important have fun an be safe
We will have a 1st an 2nd place a beesobrian crow call

Just post your name on this forum stating you're in, and pick a 3 digit number. The 3 digit number is in case of a tie; the tie will be deceided by the lottery.
Post the pictures of your kills on the boards. The person with the most points wins. There is no "entry fee". Pretty simple. Good luck

;D ;D This is shaping up nicely ;D ;D NO "Goose" NO "Jake" ;D ;D Now if I send A-bolt and Brushwolf's wives an e-mail letting them know these 2 are planning on SNEAKING off hunting this weekend ::) that should help eliminate some of the meaner competition :o :o without even firing a shot ::) ...... My new 2015 tactics: Eliminate the Gung-Ho types before pushing the patio doors open for a shot... :o.....now since this is right under where the Queen is sleeping ::) I just need to figure how to muffle the shot :P :P :P :P............. 8) :) 2 days to sign up yet, before you have to mow grass and take the kiddies to the pool... :P..

When you post a pic on the boards of your crows and coyotes, there must be a sign in the photo stating
"Yote and Crow 2015" Any questions about the rules etc, speak now.....

here is todays results only 9 birds all off state game lands. I will be hunting more game lands tomorrow. then clean up on private land on Sunday.

Haha, nice..I have a spypoint hd mounted to my shotgun but have yet to get any hunting footage with it ..shot my first turkey last year and didn't turn it on ...duh!

I have some footage my wife's first bow kill and a turkey I shot with bow 45 yards.little bit of today's crow hunt not to good though hard to call film and shoot

Yesterday I had about 30 t0 40 birds over me ;D I got 1 :( :( I would get a feather occasionally >:( I checked and I had my IC choke in, that I was using for sporting clays in the summer ::) So today I went with my modified choke and bought a box of hi-brass 6's :-\ I probably called around 30 again got another 1 >:( Most were coming in really high and looking it over :( :( I did call 4 different hawks 3 yesterday and 1 today ;D Also put tabs on 2 gobblers yesterday :D :D Not killing much but shooting and having a blast ;D ;D ;D...Also I have the added bonus of smelling Lemon each shot..LOL...... 8)

6 more for today cold and windy again.man those lil boogers can really move when they get in the wind.makes for lotta empty hauls to reload with not so many birds to count.I'll post pictures later might go back out not sure yet.

>:( Well I'm done >:( sort of forced >:( at 9am the Gamelands started to fill with bikers,walkers and lovers :P No room for coyote-crow hunters :( every spot I tried except 2 had someone,doing something ::) I even saw a guy open a gate and drive on back where they were timbering :o I did get 3 more so I would have something to show I was out ;D Kind of disappointed no coyote,I gave it a try though :P :P :P :P :P...had a lot of fun and that's all that counts really ;D I had something happen 1st time in 50+ yrs of hunting :) hit a crow and as he was coming fluttering down a Red Tail went after him ;D I don't know where he came from but I jumped up and he took off ;D ;D .............hope everybody enjoyed themselves and let's hear a story or two... 8)

Total for the hunt 18. ??? last couple of days was to windy and cold.my setup was 4 dove decoys painted flat black. calling with a FoxPro hellfire. shooting Remington 870 pump with full choke with Winchester #8's super speed. CONGRATS jaspr and everyone else who did the hunt

Thanks! I wasn't doing so well with the shooting took 31 shots to get 18 birds.they can really move when they get that wind on thier a,,. How does the owl work on crows I have one but never took it oout do they actually dive bomb it?do you use crow and owl sounds with it?

;D Thanks Jake and Thanks Bulldog for running a hunt on such short notice. ;D What happened to you other guys that signed up ??? ??? I'd like to know :) Friday I went for coyotes till around 10 then switched to crows..went in for supper..back out till dark for coyotes again >:( no luck ...no night hunting :( worn out..lol :P Sat. had an 11 yr old to watch catch trout in the AM went for crows in afternoon..windy...no coyotes..Sun. went for coyotes early "0"..then crows till noon, when SGL started to fill up :( :( :(......17 I used to put out decoys etc., now I lazy man hunt ::) sometimes I just set the caller in a clump of evergreens of some type, no decoys and if its open woods I try to semi hide my owl in a brushy tree :) If they deem it a good set-up they will dive into it for sure.... ;D ;D ;D ;D.......... 8)

Friday the boys and i gathered up fishing supplies, got a new rod and reel for the birthday boy who turned 9
Saturday we fished til just after 11, the boys were on fire, they caught 22 fish and threw them all back.
The rest of saturday and sunday we just hung out and played, so i wasnt able to get out hunting at all, maybe next time!

Jason and I went out sunday morning and I dropped two with two shots then it went down hill after that. one hit a 60ft oak and got wedged in tight. Other hit the ground but took no picture for the hunt. I do have video of the crow in the tree though.

made 3 sets Friday night into Saturday morning. No eyes did not see any activity at all. Didnot make it out Saturday night. Congrats to the winners.

Congrats to all ! Went to a friends camp in potter county with my son to hunt over the weekend never hunted the are before had a few places picked out from google maps figured I'd run the road out a few miles see if I could locate any an try and set up on them first stop tried the siren locater no answer so I tried a howl locater two coyotes answered less than 100 yards away in a pine thicket ( what's the chances ) not more than 30 seconds later I see both of them heading for the clear cut so I backed out and tried to sit up on them that evening nothing except two sets of tracs from them earlier the rest of the weekend was a bust also should have stayed home and killed crows but after putting in time all winter hunting them it sure was nice to finally get a visual of them
