I am retired from Uncle Sam...Worked for 37 years for the DOD. I did work at Basspro for a short time frame...I was suppose to give seminars to the general public on predator calling so I was not there for $$$$$$$. However I found out real fast that retail.....Um they are there for $$$$$$$ and really did not care about training people in the art of predator hunting...See God let me have a taste of retail before I pulled the plug on my government job..
From time to time I do play my harmonica in church...However what I really do now is just plain retired. I do about two seminars a year now for calling.
Last two were for the Ned Smith Center at Millersburg and for a high school agriculture curriculum class.
I am proud to say that when I did seminars... Many with my brother, Tom we got hats, shirts, supper, a calender as a memento, no money what so ever for all of the seminars that we ever did...

I am a cnc machinist. I make prescion parts to military specs. I Also worked as a metal fabricator for a while Also

Am a local delivery person for a major trucking company.
I enjoy landscaping, trees, shrubs and all types of lawn work. Trimming bushes or planting something, I enjoy it.
Am a do-it-yourselfer around the house.
My wife helps me with all projects. She's a big help. Plus we have a great family that helps when needed. And I return the help when they need help.
I do animal nusiance control work. By that, I catch varmints that are causing problems for home owners. Skunks, Groundhogs, Snakes, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Possums along with all furbearers causing problems. Spring and Summer are busy times.
I have a life long envy with furbearers. I've made it a study of sorts.
I grew up being in the Dog Supply industry. My Father made collars and leashes for hound dogs, Beagles, Coon Hounds and Fox Hounds. We sold all over the U.S.A and Canada.
90% of our business was mail order. We advertised in hound dog magazines.
So I made leather collars and leashes for 42 years.
I sold the business in 2001 because I was run ragged, holding down a full time job and running a full time business. My wife ran the place, my nephew, daughter, son-in-law and I made the goods. We also sold a full line of medicines and shots.

Organic Chemist for Analytical Lab Services in Middletown, PA...Working Biologist when I can, which is my degree...and would love to start my own Wildlife/Fisheries/Land Management company in the future...that is my real passion...
For now, I run several instruments in gas chromotagraphy and mass spectrometry...sort of stuff you see on a CSI episode when they need to find out how many parts per billion of a chemical compound in a matrix (soil, water, air)...print them off a report telling you exactly what a substance is down to 95-99% significance...I never thought I would end up being a lab rat, but not many bio jobs out there...and it pays the bills...its not that fun...I test a lot of nasty stuff...just let your imagination take over from there...

Also served some time as a quality manager for an automotive supplier. I'm 44 and I still don't know what I want to do when i grow up, maybe a cowboy I can't decide. lol

you didn't like workin for the Nazi Southern?... lol... i don't blame ya... the pay is great, and the job isn't bad at all, but the feeling that they own you with the phone ringing constantly and having to answer it or face the repercussions flat out sucks... in the summertime i start to forget what my family looks like, pretty bad when your kids start to give you the hairy eyeball cuz you are only averaging 30 hours per week at home and almost all of it is spent sleeping.
