Title: Poor Mans' bamboo rod

Several weeks ago I bought a Wal-Mart special, Eagle Claw 7' fly rod for 20.00.....Yesterday I fished it on Rapid Run above Mifflinberg...what a nice little rod to fish a stream this size...lots of rhododendron overhangs the banks and its a tight fit...nice soft action just like bamboo but cheap....I had a 6' Loomis I didn't like as much....Caught and released some nice brookies,using a #12 bead head muddler.... 8)
