trying to get out in the woods and pick some Honey Fungus.. That's not the Fungus that grows on most of your toes... Today the wind was whipping up and I figured that's all I need to be picking all those edible shrooms and a wind fall gets me... LOL... So I cut the grass today... Today I will try to go check on some deer trails and check for all kinds of shrooms!!!! Notice one of my friends got some nice ringless Honey Fungus up around the Dehart Dam area of Dauphin County...

I did get a nice pail of Honey Fungus today... the woods was dry even after all that rain this past few days... Some of the Honey Fungus was all dried up already...I was mainly looking for deer trail, bedding areas, acorns, and deer scat..  The troop of Honey Fungus was kind of like a gift in those dry woods..

UB, have you been digging 'sang?
Several of my spots have been dug prior to September 1st. Damn Thieves.
Did manage to dig some root in other spots.

This is the first time I found someone digging before the season in my area. I think that TV show about digging 'sang has spur new interest, new hunters, greedy hunters.
